FAQ's

1. How do I start my hookah?

Hold the piece of Charcoal WITH YOUR TONGS, light the charcoal and place it on top of the foil.

Start taking a series of rapid small puffs to get the tobacco burning. You will know that it is burning properly once smoke starts to build up in the glass base of the hookah and starts to flow easily through the hose.

2. My hookah doesn't seem to be smoking right. What do I do?

Check your charcoal. If the charcoal is covered with ash, there may not be enough heat getting to the shisha. Use your tongs to tap the charcoal ash off into your hookah tray and place the red charcoal back on your bowl.

If you have more than one hose you need to make sure that someone is putting their thumb over the end of the hose that is not being smoked.

3. My hookah smoke is too hot or harsh and hurts my throat. What’s wrong?

The most likely problem is your charcoal is burning the shisha in the bowl, to fix this, simply move your coal away from the center of the bowl to provide less direct heat

Blow into the hose gently to clear stale smoke.

4. I’m not getting enough smoke from the hose, what’s wrong?

Check and make sure your hose is tight to the hookah, also if you are using a hookah with multiple hoses make sure someone has their thumb over the other hose(s)
